Textile Block Printing
for Garments and Homewares
Service Description
The Block Printing for Homewares course will guide participants through the process of carving a Lino block (wood block mounted) for repeat pattern printing. The class will cover considerations such as textile suitability, tools, materials, inks and mediums, curing the print and caring for your block. There will be a brief history of block printing and repeat pattern printing with books to refer to during the class. Participants take home both the block and their printed 1/2 metre square of linen. This class lasts 3.5 hours and includes a snack* and hot and cold drinks. Location details will be released once booking is complete. My studio is located just outside Strangford village on the east Co Down coast. *Please inform via email of any allergies.

Cancellation Policy
To cancel or reschedule please contact us at least 48 hours in advance. Reshedule within 24 hours or less may incur an automatic fee retention fee of £45. Cancellations within one hour of the class may incur an automatic 50% charge. Rescheduling is available up to 24 hours prior to class.
