FLAX flower napkin set

A pair of black, naturally dyed and silkscreen printed, pure irish linen napkins. Black on black, subtle and understated,  celebrating the flax flower in a very graphic and simple design.
 
This Irish linen I 'rescued' in a factory liquidation auction. I dye the linen here at my Co. Down studio using natural dyes and solar power. I print using a paper cut stencil silk screen technique, this limits impact on the environment as well as producing a truly unique limited edition print. This stencil produced 20 prints (ten sets of napkins). 
 
The napkins are app 20x 20 inches sq. Wash as per all natural dyed textile advice and with a mindful approach to your environment - 30 degrees, bleach free detergents, line dry. Use a hot iron if a crisp look is preferred.
 
The napkin pairs will be shipped in a matching hand screen printed recycled cardboard box.
